Tjuvholmen

Tjuvholmen was built out during the 2010s and is probably the most thoroughly designed district in Norway. The buildings are signed by names like Renzo Piano and Snøhetta, art is exhibited along the pedestrian streets, and the apartments have floor-to-ceiling glass with views straight onto the fjord. The district's scale is small, you can walk from the innermost block to Tjuvholmen sjøbad in five minutes, but each block has its own gallery or restaurant.
